I am pleased to introduce the 7th Asian Congress on Autoimmunity (ACA 2017) which will be held in March, 2017 in Melbourne, Australia, in conjunction with the 12th International Congress on SLE.
Inspired by the successful International Congress on Autoimmunity series, ACA is a biennial focus point, bringing together renowned Asian, Australian and international experts to discuss the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of the more than 80 autoimmune diseases. This is a truly multidisciplinary, international gathering of world leaders in the fields of rheumatology, immunology, autoimmunity and related specialties.
SLE is one of the most complex autoimmune diseases, with more than 180 different autoantibodies, and the optimal traditional or biological therapy is yet to be discovered. However, SLE research may be fueled by progress in other disciplines in autoimmunity, presented in the framework of ACA, while participants of ACA 2017 will benefit from the first class team of lecturers in the field of Lupus. I have no doubt that the scientific program at this joint congress will be of the first rate, with many projections form aspects learned from SLE research to other autoimmune diseases.
Let us therefore enjoy the scientific exchange and the opportunity to network with Asian, Australian and international colleagues from the fields of SLE and autoimmunity.
See you in Melbourne, in March, 2017 at the 12th International Congress on SLE joined by the 7th Asian Congress on Autoimmunity!
